OptinMonster WordPress plugin account is still linked to your WordPress website through a plugin but is much smaller and more lightweight than its previous one. The new version of OptinMonster has a canvas tool that is used to create a small window and full-screen custom popups and welcome mat-style options.

Users can insert forms into pages and posts using shortcodes. The tool also allows users to add animation and sound effects to forms when loading. The previous version of OptinMonster had only three Optin form types and has now increased to seven sign-up form types with each type having its own variety of templates. These form types include lightbox popup, fullscreen welcome mat window overlay (new), slide-in, floating bar (new), mobile-optimized pop-up (new), inline/after the post (new), and sidebar widget.
